Gram Clean Company Report

At Gram Clean Air, we are proud to introduce our dedication to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards through our latest ESG report for 2024.

"ESG" stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, which covers our responsibility and actions for the environment, our social responsibility in society, and the integrity and effectiveness of our corporate governance. These principles are at the core of how we conduct our business and reflect our values and mission in building a sustainable future.

This report is not just a milestone for us; it represents a promise. A promise that Gram Clean Air will continue to be an active participant in the fight for a cleaner, more sustainable future. From our climate efforts as part of the Climate Ready SME programme and our focus on energy-optimised products, to our deep engagement in the community through training the next generations and working with local schools.

With over 80 years of experience, we are a leader in process ventilation and filtration. We have chosen to unfold our ESG efforts in this report to illustrate our continued commitment to not only being experts in our field, but also responsible for our planet and the society around us.

Description of the company

Gram Clean Air is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of process extraction and filtration equipment for industrial purposes.

Our ambition is to be the preferred sparring partner and supplier for solving health and safety-related process extraction and filtration tasks. With over 80 years of experience, we have built up a thorough understanding of the importance of working with our customers, authorities and organisations to continuously develop products and solutions that meet the highest standards of functionality, lifetime and energy-optimised quality.

The product range is designed to solve challenges in different industries and processes. The programme covers the entire spectrum from suction heads, pre-separators, filter systems and fans as well as associated control and monitoring.

One of the most important elements we offer is the advice and dialogue that precedes the delivery. For us, it is crucial that we work with our customers to provide the end user with the best possible solution that favours both economy and the environment.

We are a third-generation family-owned and operated company with full production in Denmark. Our organisation is based on family values such as respect, communication and collaboration, which is also reflected in our external collaboration with customers and suppliers. We see knowledge sharing and joint innovation as the source of success for all parties, and punctuality and delivery reliability are a matter of course for us.

Morten Gram, CEO - why do we do it?

Long-term responsibility

For the past 30 years, we have worked consciously to take responsibility for our labour conditions, environmental impact and management culture. We now summarise this in our first ESG report.

At Gram Clean Air, we have always been committed to developing our business with a credible and long-term focus. We are convinced that responsibility for society and employees, development and profitability can be combined, which is why we have always endeavoured to act in a socially responsible and loyal manner. This has been fundamental to our business for the past 30 years, before governance, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the climate debate were high on the agenda.

We have always prioritised doing things right. That's why we have worked for many years to ensure decent working conditions, a responsible management culture and an awareness of our resource consumption. It's not only in our work for our customers that we have prioritised doing things properly - it has also always been important for us to take responsibility as a company and employer.

A shared responsibility. At Gram Clean Air, we want to take part in the shared responsibility that our society rests on. With this ESG report, we would like to share our many years of work and efforts and at the same time commit to continue to behave properly and responsibly in the future. We want to help secure our common future.

We are aware of our challenges. As a steel processing manufacturing company, we are very aware of the challenge we have with steel's TCO₂e emissions. The more eco-improving products we sell in the world, the greater the emissions. Since 2020, we have had a strong focus on reducing scrap, minimising unnecessary material consumption in components while extending the mechanical life of the product. We've come a long way, but we're not there yet. We should always be on the lookout for new initiatives that can improve society.

Our ESG vision: Tomorrow's standards and innovation provide new opportunities and ways to reduce environmental impact. Here we must always be open and ready to invest to explore new avenues.

The company's resilience and DNA must continue to be protected to ensure a healthy workplace for many years to come, while being ambitious enough to stay ahead of the curve.

Morten Gram - CEO and owner
