Backdraft damper KTR and KTR-V

Backdraft damper is mounted on inlet to compressed-air cleaned filter units to prevent brackdraft to piping in connection with compressed-air filter cleaning.

Backdraft dampers type KTR and KTR-V are used for dusty air, but not chips and the like. Available in 2 versions: KTR for low pressure and KTR-V for high pressure. KTR is made as louvre grid with 2 connections.

Gram backdraft damper is available in 2 versions:

KTR, intended for low pressure:

  • Vacuum up to 5,000Pa
  • Channel velocity: max. 25m/s
  • Pressure drop: 350-600Pa

KTR-V, intended for high pressure:

  • Vacuum up to 40,000Pa
  • Channel velocity: max. 25m/s
  • Pressure drop: 350-600Pa

KTR is available in 7 sizes with connection from ø160-ø630mm.
KTR-V is available in 7 sizes with connection from ø108-ø400mm

Backdraft damper type KTR is made as louvre grid with 2 connections. Does not close 100%.

The damper is made in 2.0mm black steel plate and subsequently powder enamelled.
